Endpoints
Axiom Desktop in Version 19 is being replaced with an updated browser based Desktop application.
Endpoints - There are 2 endpoints for local connections and 2 for remote connections to an Axiom Core. Any changes to these endpoints will enable the "Apply" button to push the change to the Axiom Core service.
Net.Pipe - Windows (Local Only) - Used when the connection is to an Axiom Core on the local machine. Windows Authentication uses logon information of the current user.
Net.Pipe - Anonymous (Local Only) - Allows any local user access without credentials.
Https - Username - Uses username/password credentials entered by a Browser client to make a secure connection through the default port 443. Requires a signed certificate for authentication to be added to the web server (Axiom).
Web Socket Port: Some operating systems may not support web sockets running on the same ports as the web server. If your operating system is Windows 7, Windows 2008 R2, or older you will need to change the web socket ports to alternate ports. A certificate is required when using the Https port.
Http - Anonymous - Allows any remote web user access without credentials through the default port 80.
Certificate (Username) - Information passed through a self-signed certificate for encryption purposes. This certificate is used by the Net.TCP - Username and Windows endpoint and for most users does not require any changes.
Info... - Launches the Certificate properties dialog. Enabled when the secure or username endpoint is enabled.
Store Name - Click to expand.
Find Type - Click to expand.
Subject Name - Name of the certificate subject.
Access - Configuration to control client connections to Axiom Core.
Allow - Users or groups allowed to connect to the Axiom Core.
Add... - Click to add users or user groups to the Allow access.
Remove - Click to remove a user or user group from the Allow access.
Deny - Specify particular users or user groups to limit access.
Add... - Click to add users or user groups to the Allow access.
Remove - Click to remove a user or user group from the Allow access.
Settings
Settings - Options to change a setting in the Axiom Core.
Base Path - The directory where Axiom looks for applications, symbol graphics, and chart files. Entering a new path will display the Apply/Cancel button. Applying the change will copy the entire directory structure from the old path to the new location. It will also restart the Axiom Core service.
