The Canary Admin provides centralized administration of the Canary Labs' products installed. A Home tab, designated by the machine name, shows relevant information for each product at a glance and secure access to administer each.
Remote administration is possible by connecting the Canary Administrator to other Canary Admin Services. The currently connected Admin Service is displayed on the right side of the caption. Clicking the down arrow beside the name will display discovered Admin Services to connect to instantly. Clicking the name will allow typing in an Admin Service, machine name or IP address to connect to. If required a dialog displays to provide credentials..
Clicking a tile will enter the tile for more in-depth information and configurations. Possible tiles, depending on installation are:
Services: - Displays - current status of associated services.
When clicked - Provides quick control to stop or start services.
Messages: - Displays - The count of Log Level messages in the past 24 hours.
When clicked - A combined log of information, which is time sequenced for analysis. A search filter can limit the entries based on Log Level, Source, Category, Message or Timestamp. An email configuration allows email notifications based on product errors.
Licenses: - Displays - The license applied for each product installed.
When clicked - Lists the serial number associated with each license and the ability to generate new license keys for purchased products or transfer to other machines.
Admin: - Displays - If the Admin Service can be accessed remotely, allowed users and version information.
When clicked - Configuration of endpoints (remote access) and allowed users configuration.
Historian: - Displays - Critical Alerts or Offline files in red, DataSets defined, number of tags applied against the license, readers and writers connected, updates per second and version information.
When clicked - DataSet, file and tag information and administration. Also includes Historian Diagnostics and DataSet configuration.
Receiver: - Displays - Sessions connected to the Receiver, and totals for Tags, Redundant tags (if applicable), Updates, Updates/Sec, and Errors. Also includes version information.
When clicked - Status information on each Session and tabs to configure remote Net.TCP Endpoints and Security.
Sender: - Displays - Connected logger or clients sessions, and totals for Tags, Buffer, Store/Sec, Send/sec and Errors. Also includes version information.
When clicked - Status information on each Session and tabs to configure remote Net.TCP Endpoints and security.
Logger: - Displays - Log sessions, total tags in all log sessions, tags logging and errors. Also includes version information.
When clicked - Options to add command line to registry when running as service and ability change registration from either system service or interactive user.
OPC Collector: - Displays - Number of log Sessions, Groups, total Tags in all log sessions, tags Logging and errors. Also includes version information.
When clicked - Options to create and manage OPC log sessions.
Views: - Displays - Number of Clients connected, Views, and Security state. Also includes version information.
When clicked - Views information and Administration of Diagnostics, Security and Configuration.
Events: - Displays - Events being monitored, Checks in the Last Min, Events in Progress, Events in the Last 24 Hours, and Total Events. Also includes version information.
When clicked - Event databases, Diagnostics and Configuration.
Axiom: - Displays - Number of Clients connected, if Browser and Graphics are enabled in the license and version information.
When clicked - License management, Audit history and Configuration.
Mirror: - Displays - Number of Sessions, number of sessions Enabled, number of sessions Running, and version information.
When clicked - Session information, state and administration of Mirror Configuration.
CygNet Collector: - Displays - Divisions, Tags, TVQs and version information.
When clicked - View division status. Requires manual setup with assistance from Canary Labs.
SQL Collector: - Displays - Connections, Tags, TVQs. Also includes version information.
When clicked - View connection status. Requires manual setup with assistance from Canary Labs.
MQTT Collector: - Displays - Connections, Tags, TVQ's/sec and version information.
When clicked - View connection status. Requires manual setup with assistance from Canary Labs.
Canary: - When clicked - Displays Company, Product and Version information.
