To configure the web api at least one Historian Views Client license will need to be activated. Once this has been completed, the next step is to allow the wep api access on the Canary Admin. This can be done through the Views tile. Just click on configuration on the bottom tab and endpoints on the left side. As seen in the picture below just check the boxes you would like to enable for web api access. Once this has been done, testing can be done to make sure everything is working. To test the connection type the "machine name", "colon", followed by the port number. A help page should populate. The help page will list different calls you can make through the api.
